Damon Michael Seeber
This memorial was created in the memory of our loved one, Damon Seeber. Born January 19th at the Walter Reed Army hospital in Washington D.C. and died young on August 18th, 2005, at the age of 16, the victim of a hit and run.
When you lose a loved one, no words can ease your grief. You try to honor them and remember them with memorials, and pictures but the greatest memorial are our memories of the time we spent with them and the love we hold for them in our hearts that never diminishes no matter how much time passes. I remember Damon, for the person he was, for the man he never got a chance to become, but I also remember the good times that we shared. So, remember him and the good moments that you shared with him, and keep him alive in your memories. I know he is somewhere, and someday we will see him again.
The laws for hit and run drivers must be changed! Too many people are being killed by hit and run drivers, most who run do so to hide the fact that they were drinking, doing drugs or were driving distracted such as talking or texting on a cell phone. When the drivers are caught, many serve little and often NO time behind bars. From what I've reasearched on many internet sites, drivers that are caught for a hit and run offense usually serve community service up to 2-1/2 years on average.
